Board Certified in Family Medicine
Diplomate of American Board of Obesity Medicine

Having gained significant amount of weight during both my pregnancies, and striving to get to a healthier body mass index myself, helping patients achieve their weight goals became a passion of mine!
I completed my medical training from one of the best institutions in India-Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, and my residency at Medical College of Wisconsin, Waukesha.
I want Haksha to be THE ideal clinic for my patients, where we can provide the best and latest evidence based medical care with utmost compassion and understanding each patient as an individual.
In my spare time, I enjoy different types of work outs, strength training, dance, outdoor activities, reading, learning new languages and being a very active part of my boys' childhood.
Carrie Truebenbach earned her PT degree at Boston University and an M.S. in Kinesiology-Biomechanics from UW-Milwaukee. Carrie is a board-certified Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association. In addition to her professional movement pursuits, in July 2020 Carrie completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.
As a practitioner, Carrie places high priority on the individual goals and needs of each patient. Thorough interview and examination techniques help refine and personalize each client's plan of care and exercise selections. This philosophy of patient-centered care led to the establishment of Synchrony PT, LLC- a practice developed to assist clients in their personal journey to optimize their health, function, and active lifestyle pursuits.
Carrie lives with her husband and two children (ages 11 & 14). Movement and activity are her passion- including running, hiking, yoga, and snowboarding. Other interests include cooking, baking, and reading.

As a child, my dream was always influenced by the need to help others, to be able to provide compassionate and caring service. Whether it was being a teacher, nurse, or social worker, I always imagined being able to motivate and be able to bring a smile to others by offering help in any way possible. I began my road as a Medical Assistant at a family practice office. It was then that I was able to get hands-on experience in patient care. I enjoyed having the opportunity to care for many patients, and to be able to gain the knowledge and understanding needed to provide the best service to patients.
As a mother of four beautiful daughters, I have a big heart for children. Which also influenced me to get a certification in Early Childhood Education. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking/baking, arts and crafts, and dancing. I also have a hidden talent, I take special interest in special effect makeup.
I am more than excited to be a part of the Haksha Team. My goal is to be able to help patients accomplish their personal goals, this will be an accomplishment to myself as well. In this new journey, I will be welcoming our patients with a big smile and strong long-term support.
