While gyms are starting to reopen, some are choosing to stay closed until further notice. With that being said, many are left to wonder how to stay active without using the gym. There are all kinds of ways to be active outside along with in your home. Go for a run, walk, or even a hike to get that heart rate up and enjoy the beautiful weather this summer has to offer! There are also many ways you can be active at home! Many gyms have online fitness classes via Zoom that they offer to their members which is a great alternative to the gym. If you’re not a member to a gym, this might just be the opportunity to try something new! There’s also SO many free streaming or on-demand videos you can tune into to maintain or improve your physical and mental health – online.

It’s important that we all do our part to slow the spread of the corona virus. That means following local, state, and national guidelines. Try to limit social interactions when possible and always stay home if you’re feeling sick.
